has gloss | eng: The West/Central Canadian English dialect is one of the largest and most homogeneous dialect areas in North America, ranging from Ontario, through the Prairie Provinces to British Columbia. It forms a dialect continuum with the accent in the Western United States, and borders the Canadian North, and U.S. North Central and Inland North dialect regions. While it is one of the most homogeneous in that the regional differences inside the dialect area are very small, it has few unique features. It is very similar to General American English. |
