has gloss	eng: The UHV Jaguars (also known as Jaguars, Jags, Houston-Victoria, or UHV) are the athletic teams of the University of Houston–Victoria. Playing for the first time in the 2008 season, the Jaguars field teams in baseball and softball, and have announced an expansion of athletics in mens and womens golf and soccer programs. The Jaguars compete as an independent in the NAIA's Region VI. The athletic director is Ashley Walyuchow.
