Likewise one can define the complex Stiefel manifold Vk(Cn) of orthonormal k-frames in Cn and the quaternionic Stiefel manifold Vk(Hn) of orthonormal k-frames in Hn. More generally, the construction applies to any real, complex, or quaternionic inner product space.
