This is one of the four identity of Pakistans and Punjab Literature. Sohni lived in Punjab (now Pakistan) followed by Heer Ranjha, Mirza Sahiba and Sassi Punnun. The story is one of the most prominent examples of medieval poetic legends in the Punjabi, Seraiki and Sindhi languages. |
