has gloss | eng: Pernetiana roses are roses that were named for the famed French rosarian, Joseph Pernet-Ducher. Specifically those that were bred from the stock of rose Soleil dOr (1900). The colors of these roses vary orange, yellow, apricot, and pink to an array of mixtures of the colors including what has been called flaming' reds and yellows. Pernet-Ducher originally set out to breed a true yellow Hybrid Perpetual rose, but ended up creating what can be attested to as a new class of roses that has sense be lost or rather taken over by the class Hybrid Tea. |
