BBY stands for years before the Battle of Yavin, which occurred during Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. ABY stands for years after the Battle of Yavin.

Elles traduisent les comics américains publiés par Dark Horse sous licence de LucasBooks. Delcourt a réédité la majorité des albums de Dark Horse France. Seuls deux albums ne lont pas encore été : La Pierre de Kaiburr et Les Ombres de lEmpire - Évolution.
