has gloss | eng: Gurgel BR-800 was a small Brazilian car produced between 1988 and early 1992. The first prototype was produced in 1987. In almost four years of commercial production, less than 4,000 BR-800s were produced. In 1992, the production of BR-800 was over; Gurgel switched to producing the Gurgel Supermini, its last vehicle in production. Better than the BR-800, the Supermini fared even worse than BR-800, in sales. Less than 2,000 Gurgel Superminis were produced between 1992 and 1994, when Gurgel went bankrupt. The Gurgel BR-800 had just two cylinders and relative comfort for only two persons. In the back seat two or even three more people could sit, but without enough space. |
