Přípravu publikací řídí Verein zur Förderung der Fontes Christiani / Fontes Christiani Institute při univerzitě v Bochumi. Podobně jako ve francouzské ediční řadě Sources chrétiennes obsahují jednotlivé svazky kritický text v originále a moderní německý překlad. |
