The center is there to provide love and compassion to those facing homelessness and poverty. The center is a non profit inter-faith based organization who welcomes all culture, traditions and personal beliefs. They try to assist people who are homeless or impoverished with basic life necessities. The center provides a soup kitchen that provides a free lunch seven days a week. The center also provides sanitary toiletry facilities, showers, washers and dryers and communication opportunities, such as mail, telephone and message boards. The center also provides information, referrals and assistance for housing, employment, health, help with obtaining personal identification, and other concerns; and to offer ways for volunteers from the community to engage in meaningful "hands on" work to help those in need. |
