It also developed numerous games for 8-bit micros, notably sports simulations as well as the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron conversions of Jet Set Willy, Boulder Dash and Spy vs. Spy. Tynesoft was also a respectable software developer for the Atari 8-bit computer. Later they released budget games (or low quality games without being budget games) for 16-bit computers Amiga and Atari ST. It went bankrupt in 1990, before it could publish its game based on the Games Workshop boardgame Blood Bowl. Tynesoft was famous for their Olympic-themed games Summer Olympiad and Winter Olympiad, as well as a game based on the film Beverley Hills Cop. |
