has gloss	eng: Tarek Shahin (born 1982) is an Egyptian cartoonist. He has had works published in Egyptian mainstream media and in the United States. He is currently authoring Al Khan, Egypt's first English-language comic strip, on the pages of The Daily News Egypt newspaper. He also authors Cairo Freeze! , an online editorial cartoon website. In 2007, he wrote and animated a special feature for Al Jazeera English on its popular show, The Listening Post with Richard Gizbert.
