has gloss	eng: Ernest Chaussons Symphony in B flat major (Op. 20), his only symphony, was written in the year 1890 and first performed on April 1891 at a concert of the Société Nationale de Musique conducted by the composer. It was dedicated to the French painter and art collector Henry Lerolle. As with César Francks sole Symphony the critics were divided. The work may be arguably named as Chausson's masterpiece.

has gloss	jpn: 《交響曲変ロ長調（仏語：Symphonie en si bémol majeur）》作品20はエルネスト・ショーソンが完成させた唯一の交響曲（ただし歿年の1899年には新しい交響曲のスケッチに取り組んでいた）。1889年9月に着手され、1890年12月に完成された。初演は1891年4月18日にサル・エラールにおいて作曲者自身の指揮で行われ、まずまずの成功に終わった。1897年にアルトゥール・ニキシュがベルリン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団を指揮して本作をパリで演奏したところ大成功をおさめ、1880年代から1890年代にかけて、フランス交響楽の豊穣な時代に創られた作品の中でも、並び立つもののない存在となった。
