has gloss	eng: The Scramspike is a rocket concept currently under development. Utilizing an aerospike nozzle, solid rocket motor, and a scramjet air intake, the rocket is designed to supplement oxidation during the first stage to orbit, and at the same time provide higher nozzle efficiency. The main challenge of the project is to design an air intake that retains a high efficiency at a high range of mach numbers.
