For example, every integer that is congruent to 3 mod 6 is 3-rough; every integer that is congruent to 5 or 25 mod 30 is 5-rough. In addition, integers greater than 1 which are congruent to 1 or 5 mod 6 are also 3-rough, as well as 5-rough and possibly higher; likewise 1, 7, 11, 13, etc. mod 30 are also 5-rough as well as 7-rough. |
