| has gloss | eng: | |} RFA Sir Tristram (L3505) is a Landing Ship Logistics of the Round Table class. She was launched in 1966, and accepted into British Army service in 1967. As with others of her class, she was taken over by the Royal Navy in 1970. The ship saw service in the Falklands War of 1982, and was badly damaged at Fitzroy on 8 June, alongside the , when the decks were strafed and two crew were killed. A large bomb also smashed through the deck, but failed to explode immediately, allowing the surviving crew to be evacuated. Following the explosion, Sir Tristram was abandoned. After the war the hulk was re-floated and towed to Stanley, where she was used as an accommodation ship until 1984. Sir Tristram was then returned to the United Kingdom on a heavy lift ship and extensively rebuilt. |

Esse, armate con armi leggere e 2 cannoni da 40mm L60 Bofors, non erano certo molto ben difese, e forse questo fu alla causa della catastrofe di Bluff Cove, quando, l8 giugno 1982 la Sir Galahad e la Sir Tristan furono scoperte vicino a tale località da una formazione di cacciabombardieri A-4 argentini, che le colpirono entrambe. La Sir Galahad venne portata al largo e affondata, la Tristan si salvò ma non rientrò più in servizio: venne utilizzata come nave alloggio per le truppe inglesi nel dopoguerra. Tale fatto darme rappresentò la maggiore perdita di vite umane per gli inglesi, mentre tra i 4 aerei argentini 3 vennero persi a seguito della caccia spietata a pelo d'acqua che venne fatta da 2 Sea Harrier presenti sul posto, pilotati da Burton e il suo gregario. Nella circostanza anche un mezzo da sbarco delle navi inglesi venne colpito ed affondato dalle bombe argentine. |
