has gloss	eng: The Pyu or Tircul language is an ancient Tibeto-Burman language of Southeast Asia spoken in the area of present day Burma and Thailand. It was spoken by the Pyu people around the 5th century AD, and became extinct after the 12th century, as the Pyu were assimilated by surrounding groups including the Burmese. Pyu is found in inscriptions that include Pali translations.
