has gloss	eng: Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia (ΦΜΑ) is a collegiate social fraternity for men of musicianly character. Today, its 226 chapters, 16 colonies, and 15 alumni associations serve to "advance music in America" on college campuses and in communities nationwide. To date, more than 150,000 men have been initiated into Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, making it the largest and oldest secret society in music. Brothers who have left the institutions at which they were initiated remain an integral part of the fraternity as alumni members.
