Co stars include Devayani and Kiran. New is a film about a 8 year old boy turns into a 28 year old man by a Scientist. New is inspired by the Hollywood film "Big". The film was also remade in Telugu as Naani which had Mahesh Babu and Amisha Patel in the lead roles. The Telugu version also directed by S .J. Suryaah.
