has gloss	heb: הצבא של ממלכת ירושלים הורכב משני גורמים עיקריים: צבא הממלכה וצבאות המסדרים. במאה ה-11 שני מסדרים גדולים היו פעילים בממלכה: הטמפלרים וההוספיטלרים. במאה ה-12 נוסף אליהם גם המסדר הטבטוני. לצד האבירים היו למסדרים פרשים קלים המוכרים בשם טורקופולים שהיו אמורים לסייע לאבירים במלחמתם נגד הפרשים הקלים של המוסלמים. אף שהמסדרים נשמעו הלכה למעשה לפקודות המלך, הם לא היו תחת פיקודו הישיר ולא היו חייבים בשירות צבאי למען הממלכה. צבא הממלכה גויס בצורה דומה לגיוס צבאות ימי הביניים באירופה. הצבא המלכותי סיפק כמחצית מכלל האבירים ואת רוב חיל הרגלים.
