They were: Rudolph Acquaviva, Alphonsus Pacheco, Peter Berno, and Anthony Francis, who were priests and Francis Aranha, a lay brother. The events leading to these deaths are seen differently by some historians who talk of the Cuncolim Revolt against Portuguese expansion in India . |
