has gloss	eng: This is a list of lieutenant governors of the U.S. state of Alabama, 1868 to present. In Alabama, the Lieutenant Governor and the Governor do not run together on the same ticket. The Lieutenant Governor can therefore be affiliated with a different political party than that of the Governor. Under the Alabama Constitution, the Lieutenant Governor is the President and Presiding Officer of the Alabama Senate.

Miało to miejsce dotychczas, tj. od wprowadzenia tej funkcji, dwa razy. Po raz pierwszy w maju roku 1968, kiedy to Albert Brewer został gubernatorem po śmierci Lurleen Wallace, oraz w kwietniu 1993, kiedy gubernator Harold Guy Hunt został automatycznie usunięty z urzędu po uznaniu go za winnego etycznych nadużyć i wicegubernator Jim Folsom, junior przejął ster rządów.
