Other important forms of goddess Tripura Sundari are Meenakshi of Madurai, Akilandeswari of Thiruvanaikaval and Vishalakshi of Varanasi. There are other famous temples for Kamakshi including the one at Ramnathi-Santeri in Goa and the Kalikambal Temple at Madras (Now Chennai).
