Starting up on December 14, 1968, KKOG, an independent station, offered live, local programming instead of the normal syndicated programming most independents offered. KKOGs primary owner was Julian F. Myers, a noted Hollywood talent agent and publicist. Mr. Myers hosted several of the stations TV programs.
