has gloss	eng: The Jupiter family of rockets is part of a the proposed DIRECT Shuttle-Derived Launch Vehicle architecture, which is intended to be an alternative to the Ares I and Ares V rockets which are currently being developed for the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Project Constellation. It is intended to re-use as much hardware and facilities from the Space Shuttle program as possible.
