has gloss	eng: Hurricane Gabrielle was the seventh named storm, fourth hurricane and first major hurricane of the 1989 Atlantic hurricane season. Gabrielle formed from a tropical depression on August 30, 1989, and moved west-northwestward before recurving and becoming a Category 4 hurricane on September 5. Gabrielle reached a peak intensity of 145 mph (225 km/h) before weakening into a tropical storm seven days later and dissipating southeast of Atlantic Canada on September 13.
