has gloss | eng: Final Dress Rehearsal is a one-act farce written by American playwright Jack Frakes. It concerns an amateur troupe of actors who stage a production of Cinderella, though they are not ready to perform. The actress playing Cinderella arrives late, while the prince fails to appear at all. This inspires the Prompter to offer to play the prince's part. The Prompter seems to want to play all of the parts in the play. The stepsisters fail to enter on cue, the stage crew is composed of buffoons, the sound effects are played incorrectly, and when the author arrives, she feels that her play is being ruined. |
