It is located off the State route of Mexico-Morelia-Guadalajara, approximately 12 km (7.5 mi) south of Mil Cumbres. It has an elevation of approximately 2896 m (9501 ft) above mean sea level. Geologically, climatically and culturally its probably one of the best places on the planet to retire and live a tranquil and comfortable life. The views, temperature, spring water, clean air, fresh produce, meats and friendly people make it ideal to reside here. Its temperatures Oscilate from 40s to the 70s from July to February and 60s to 80s from March to June with relative low humidity. This small village has been settled for hundreds of years providing a great outdoor experience regarding insects. There are few almost no mosquitos, snakes or any other pests. |
