The film stars Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead role and Anushka Shetty, Raghava Lawrence, Kelly Dorjee, and Nikita in other prominent roles. Lawrence also made his debut music director for the film. The film released on 20 December 2007. The film initially got bad reviews but ended up turning profitable to distributors. This film has also been dubbed into Malayalam on release as Bhai and recently dubbed into Hindi as "Don No. 1" under the Royal Film Companys supervision. The intro scene of Nagarjuna was inspired from the intro scene of Megastar Mammootty, in the Malayalam movie, BIGB. Plot At start, a teen named Suri escapes and finds a drug dealer tormenting some little boys. Suri had a gun and he shoots the drug dealer. All the boys become Suris helpers and eventually henchman. One boy named Raghava says he wants to join Suri.
