has gloss	eng: A check scale is a scale generally associated with filling containers with product. Bag fillers, such as potatoes, or other produce are one application. Drum, box, and bale fillers are others. When contained in a conveyor beltline, the scale may also be called a checkweigher. The checkweigher's controller uses algorithms designed to monitor the weight of the container being filled, and reduces the flow as the target weight is approaching. When the target weight is reached, the filler is told by the checkweigher to shut off the flow.
