has gloss	eng: Charles Anderson Landscape Architecture (CALA) is a Seattle-based landscape architecture firm. It was founded with the goal of creating places for civic expression which reveal ecological and social phenomena, processes, and relationships. In doing so, the studio continues the work which Charles Morris Anderson developed with Anderson and Ray, a firm he helped found in 1994. CALA’s principals bring over 40 years of professional experience in creating urban plazas and parks, major civic and institutional landscapes, urban planning, interpretive centers, and ecological and historic landscape restoration projects. While the primary focus area of the studio is the Pacific Northwest, recent projects have ranged from New York to California to Alaska.
