| has gloss | eng: Camp Susque is an ACA accredited nondenominational Christian summer camp and retreat facility located in Trout Run, Pennsylvania. For 60 years, Camp Susque has offered its unique programming to youth of all ages. It began when four men met together and came up with the idea of a ministry through camping, with planned goals, teaching inserted into daily camp life, and the purpose of evangelizing boys who did not attend church. The following goals/statements were agreed upon: 1. Only God can open a boys heart. 2. In the presentation of the gospel, there should be no gimmicks, or pressure leading to a false decision. 3.Who God is, is of prime importance. (The application of what Jesus did, is when the Holy Spirit comes to the heart). 4. It should be independent of any church tie in order to have all boys attend. |
